About Me
Hi, I’m Godly.
I’m a software and platform engineer with a particular interest in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, automation and self-hosting.
I started my career as a software engineer before moving deeper into infrastructure and platform engineering, and I still enjoy working across both sides. Most of my day-to-day work involves building and operating Kubernetes platforms, automating infrastructure and figuring out why things break.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time experimenting in my homelab. That usually means deploying something new, breaking something that was working perfectly well, and then learning far more than I originally intended while fixing it. I’ve worked on everything from self-hosted services and networking to running local AI models with Ollama and experimenting with GPUs.
I started this blog mainly as a place to document those projects properly. Partly so I can refer back to what I did six months later, but also in the hope that some of it might be useful to someone working through the same problem.
Expect posts about Kubernetes, Linux, cloud and infrastructure, homelabbing, automation, AI, and whatever else I happen to be experimenting with.
